RESCO/BOOT (Build Own Operate Transfer) model is a zero-investment model in which the consumer pays only for the electricity generated, while the solar plant is owned by Lume Solar Energy. You can enjoy the electricity that is generated without worrying about any of the associated operations and maintenance issues. In return, all you need to do is pay a pre-decided monthly tariff which is lower than prevailing grid electricity tariff.
Rooftop (On- Site) :
On-site solar power plant (which might be on rooftop, ground mount solar installation). No Investment from client side, Solar plant gets installed at rooftop of client and maintained by us at lower tariff than grid through PPA .
Open Access (Off Site) :
No Investment from client side, Solar/Wind plant gets installed far away location from client (consumption of solar/wind power through the grid) and maintained by us at lower tariff than grid through PPA .
How Rooftop (On- Site) Solar Power Works:
We utilize your vacant Rooftop spaces and set up a Solar PV Power plant at our own Cost.
Captive Consumption: All power generated from the Solar Plant is fed into the LT panel and is 100% utilized.
We sign a PPA with the Rooftop Owner and sell the power on monthly cycle for a fixed term period.
Operation & Maintenance: We maintain the entire plant and station our team at site, at our own costs and expense for the entire term.
How Open Access (Off- Site) Solar/Wind Power Works:
Power will be generated from one of the state solar/wind farms (typically in a rural area where land is freely available),
The Solar/Wind Power will be injected into the grid, into an existing substation,
The power will then go through the existing grid infrastructure to large consumers in the state,
The consumer for power could be factories, warehouses, manufacturing units or anyone who has a minimum contract demand of 1000 kVA (~900kW).

Zero Risk : If the system doesn’t produce energy (may be on a cloudy/rainy day), you don’t have to pay.
Transfer of Ownership : You have an option to own the system at the end of PPA term and prolong your energy savings. This model is about pay as you, save from a Photo Voltaic Solar Power Project. The consumer can sublet his Rooftop to a Project Developer and get monthly rent in the Local Micro Utility Model.
